Letter from the Artist

Art has played an important part of my life since the first time I realized I could draw as a teenager. The desire to create art beckoned to me as I registered for my first semester of college classes at Hardin Simmons University where I later graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelors in Studio Art and an emphasis in Painting and Drawing.

Over the years, art became a means to learn about myself through analyzing my own creative concepts and my responses to others’ work.

While art is my first passion, graphic and web design follow closely behind. Art is about communication, be it emotion or specific information. Design allows me to create the best means of conveying my client’s message to their audience. It is a new journey with every client and one that never ceases to be exciting and rewarding.
